PTAG RFI – USPTO seeks an engineering assessment of Piller UPS system in Alexandria, VA

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is seeking an independent contractor to provide an engineering evaluation of the Piller UPS system in Alexandria, VA. The contractor will determine whether to continue operating, refurbish, or replace the Piller UPS systems with an alternative solution. The USPTO operates mission-critical data center facilities that require continuous, reliable, and conditioned electrical power to support core operations. The facility currently utilizes Piller UPS systems, including Diesel Rotary UPS configurations with flywheel energy storage and generator integration. • The contractor should have experience in engineering services, particularly in the assessment of UPS systems. • The contractor should be able to provide a tailored capability statement addressing the particulars of this effort. • The contractor should be able to provide information about their firm's ability to meet the requirement stated above. • The contractor should be able to provide past performance information, if applicable.
