Description
The Alaska Court System is seeking bids for a new janitorial contract for the Palmer Courthouse. The contract will commence on November 1, 2026, and will last for two years with four optional two-year renewal periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning services, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing. The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Daily cleaning services will include tasks such as emptying trash, cleaning drinking fountains, and vacuuming carpets.
• Weekly cleaning services will include tasks such as dusting, cleaning secured areas, and sweeping and mopping hard surface floors.
• Monthly cleaning services will include tasks such as shampooing carpets, cleaning air vent grills, and polishing metal trim work.
• Semi-annual cleaning services will include tasks such as stripping and waxing floors, deep scrubbing concrete floors, and shampooing carpets.
• Annual cleaning services will include tasks such as deep scrubbing and resealing concrete floors, washing interior windows, and sweeping and cleaning mechanical rooms.
