Description
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a contractor to provide extended stay hotel services in Ottawa, Ontario, for U.S. Government personnel. The contractor must provide one-bedroom, two-bedroom, or three-bedroom suites with fully furnished kitchens, separate living and sleeping areas, climate control, and other amenities. The hotel premises must be located within 1.5 kilometers of the U.S. Embassy and have reasonable access to public transportation, grocery stores, and other essential services. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
Some key requirements include:
• Providing a minimum of CAD $10,000 in services during the base year of the contract
• Allowing for 48-hour cancellation of reservations without penalty
• Providing housekeeping services and fresh linens and towels weekly
• Offering high-speed internet access and television with cable or streaming service
• Having a 24-hour front desk and secure parking
• Being pet-friendly
The Government reserves the right to award one or more contracts resulting from this solicitation.
