Terminal Parking Garage Vestibule HVAC System Design-Build - Rebid

The Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) is seeking a design-build contractor for the Terminal Parking Garage Vestibule HVAC System Replacement project at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The project involves replacing the existing HVAC system, installing a new condensing boiler, and modifying the system design to improve conditioning on the 1st and 5th floors. The contractor must provide a detailed process for delivering the core services, a work plan, and a proposed schedule and phasing to complete the project. The contractor must also demonstrate experience in providing design-build services similar to those required under this RFP. • Replacing the existing T3 Garage Vestibule HVAC system in-kind • Installing a new condensing boiler • Reusing or replacing hot-water radiators • Providing a new air handler and condenser • Modifying HVAC system design to improve conditioning on the 1st and 5th floors • Installing air curtains at each automatic door • Installing a VAV on each floor to zone-control each level based on demand • Removing the existing pneumatic control system and replacing it with a new Direct Digital Control (DDC) automated logic system • Performing all related MEP work, fire-protection modifications, selective demolition, restoration of finishes, and site cleanup
