Description
The South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism is seeking a qualified film‑scout service provider to locate and document filming sites across the state. The contractor will respond to location requests on short notice, capture high‑resolution photos and video, and upload the media with detailed metadata to the state’s “Reel‑Scout™” database. Two classes of scouts are defined (Class I and Class II) with corresponding daily rates, and the contract may be renewed annually for up to five years.
• Provide on‑demand location‑scouting services for film, TV, commercial, catalog and print projects, delivering digital media the same day.
• Maintain a digital library (Reel‑Scout™) with required metadata for each location; ensure confidentiality of location information.
• Compensation includes daily rates of $250 (Class I) or $350 (Class II) plus up to $600 per day for allowable expenses; contract length is one‑year base with four optional one‑year renewals.
