Description
CAL FIRE is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive shop‑linen and mat rental services on a weekly basis for its Riverside Training Center. The contractor must supply clean, fire‑resistant uniforms and shop mats, handle laundering, inventory management, replacement of worn items, and all associated logistics (transport, permits, taxes, insurance). All work must be performed by the prime contractor’s own staff; subcontracting is prohibited. The contract is a three‑year, no‑price‑ceiling IFB, with award expected on July 1 2026.
• Provide navy‑blue cotton coveralls, shop jackets, wiping cloths, Terry towels, and rubber‑back mats, cleaned and maintained weekly.
• Manage inventory, quarterly reporting, and replace items that exceed useful life at contractor expense.
• Deliver all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees; maintain required insurance (≥ $1 M each) and certify compliance with post‑consumer content, organic‑waste recycling, and Darfur Contracting Act.
