On-Call Emergency and Urgent Water and Sewer Repair & Replacement Services

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking proposals for on-call emergency and urgent water and sewer repair and replacement services. The scope of work includes repairs and replacements of water mains, sewer mains, house connections, valves, manholes, and lamp holes throughout Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties, Maryland. The contractor will be required to provide traffic control services and must have experience with various types of pipeline materials. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in projects similar in size and scope. • The contractor must have a minimum of 12 references of projects completed within the past 5 years. • The contractor must have the capability to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours and be fully mobilized within 3 hours. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required by the contract documents. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to traffic control, erosion and sediment control, and confined space entry.
