Engine Government Reference Architecture (eGRA) RFI

The US Air Force is seeking information from industry partners to understand their approaches to propulsion system architecting and how to evolve the government's existing toolset. The Engine Government Reference Architecture (eGRA) is a key product of the Air Force's Digital Materiel Management strategy, and the project team is seeking feedback from prospective users. The eGRA aims to provide a standardized means to convey government requirements and receive vendor responses and data, as well as a tool for management of the propulsion system across its lifecycle. Interested parties can respond with a white paper or an in-person oral presentation at the Turbine Engine Technology Symposium (TETS) 2026. The responses should address one or more of the questions provided in the RFI, including how to incorporate the eGRA into modeling practices, leverage a model-based approach, and inform and streamline future Requests for Proposal. • The eGRA project team is seeking feedback from industry partners to develop a tool that adds value to both government and industry users. • The eGRA aims to provide a standardized means to convey government requirements and receive vendor responses and data. • The eGRA will be used to manage the propulsion system across its lifecycle. • Interested parties can respond with a white paper or an in-person oral presentation at TETS 2026. • The responses should address one or more of the questions provided in the RFI.
