Description
The Goodrich Area Schools district is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, install, and commission complete theatrical rigging and drapery systems for both Goodrich High School and Goodrich Middle School auditoriums. The scope includes removal of existing curtains, delivery and installation of new curtains (various sizes and fabrics), installation of new rope, tensioner, and pulley systems, conversion of several pipe lines to automated “Pilewind” hoist systems, provision of all necessary rigging hardware, testing, warranties, and coordination with the electrical contractor. Work must begin in December 2026 and be fully completed by July 31 2027, with a minimum three‑year warranty on all equipment and workmanship.
• Remove and dispose of existing stage curtains and rigging components.
• Supply and install new main valances, travelers, borders, legs, side tabs, cyclorama, and related hardware per detailed drawings.
• Install automated rigging (THERN PW12 “Pilewind” hoists) on designated pipes and provide wall‑mounted controllers.
• Provide all required permits, scaffolding, and safety compliance (ETCP standards, 3‑year warranty).
• Coordinate a pre‑bid site walkthrough on September 21 2026; RFI deadline September 28 2026; bid submission deadline October 12 2026; award expected October 13‑21 2026.
