Description
The County of Orange is seeking a highly qualified contractor to provide routing software and associated equipment for its Solid Waste Recycling, Commercial, and Sanitation collection services. The contractor will provide installation, training, and maintenance of the software and equipment. The contract will be for an initial term of three years, with the option to extend for two additional two-year periods. The contractor must have at least three years of experience in providing similar services and must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Provide integrated, comprehensive, and customer-friendly collection routing software with route optimization capabilities.
• Provide a cart management system that addresses cart tipping, ordering, location, and usage of RFID technology.
• Provide installation of equipment for routing software and training of OC Solid Waste staff.
• Provide monthly reports, by routes, listing collection points and associated information.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Provide a detailed transition plan to ensure a smooth transition from the current contractor.
• Provide proof of insurance and financial capability to handle the services.
• Comply with the County's living wage policy and non-discrimination ordinance.
