85026P0005-RQ_A&E, RC for Engineering Design

The New York City Department of Design and Construction is seeking qualified engineering firms to perform architectural, engineering, and construction-related services for various single-system upgrades or replacement projects in any of the City's five boroughs. The contracts resulting from this RFQ will be Requirements Contracts for Small/Medium/Large projects, with an estimated construction value of $100,000 and above. The selected firms will be responsible for providing design services for the projects assigned under the Requirements Contract. • The RFQ is open to Small, Medium, and Large engineering firms, defined by the number of full-time Professional Staff employed by the firm. • The RFQ will utilize a two-stage, quality-based selection process, prioritizing design, quality, qualifications, and experience. • The selected firms will be required to provide a Statement of Qualifications, which will be reviewed and evaluated by an evaluation committee. • The contract resulting from this RFQ will be a multi-year contract, subject to modification or cancellation if adequate funds are not appropriated to the Agency to support continuation of performance.
