Construction Manager Services for Bus Stop Improvements Project

The City of Gainesville is seeking a Construction Manager to provide oversight and support for the RTS Bus Stop Improvements Program. The program consists of two phases, with Phase 2 including improvements at 95 bus stops and a total construction budget of $1,050,204.58, and Phase 3 including improvements at 83 bus stops and a budget of $851,344.45. The Construction Manager will be responsible for providing pre-construction services, construction phase services, and final inspections and closeout. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, and at least 5 years of experience in construction management. • The Construction Manager will ensure compliance with ADA requirements and FTA documentation and reporting requirements. • The Construction Manager will maintain a master tracking system for all bus stops and provide recommendations to optimize sequencing and minimize disruptions to transit operations. • The Construction Manager will support the City in lessons-learned documentation to refine Phase 3 delivery. • The Construction Manager will assist with coordination between overlapping packages or concurrent contractors if applicable.
