Request for Qualification-Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing Engineering Services

Montgomery County Public Schools is soliciting the submission of qualifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering firms to provide services for capital facilities projects. The selected firms will be included in the Fiscal Years 2027–2032 Capital Improvements Program. Services may include design, construction administration, existing conditions surveys, and recommendations. The submission must contain a formal letter of intent, a Good Standing Certificate, a current form SF-330, and a description of the design of K-12 mechanical systems. • The opportunity is for a one-year period with the possibility of up to 3 one-year extensions. • The selection of consulting firms will occur in May 2026. • Requests for proposals will be distributed to prequalified consultants for each project separately. • Minority business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation notice.
