Building Fee Study Consultant

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a consultant to conduct a comprehensive fee study and pay analysis for the Building Division. The study should evaluate existing fees, compare them to peer counties and jurisdictions, and assess whether current fees reasonably recover the cost of providing services. The consultant should also analyze employee pay and staffing costs to determine if existing fees sufficiently cover these costs. The project aims to promote transparency, equity, and consistency within department services and support long-term operational and financial sustainability. • The consultant will be required to submit a proposal that includes their experience, qualifications, and approach to the project. • The proposal should also include a price proposal and information on the consultant's key personnel and operations. • The consultant will be expected to work with the County's Procurement Department and other stakeholders to complete the project. • The project is expected to last for 12 months, with a possible renewal option for an additional 12 months.
