Description
The City of Alexandria is seeking a qualified vendor to supply, stock, and alter a full line of fire‑department uniforms on an as‑needed basis. The contract runs for one year with an optional renewal, requires PFAS‑free garments, and includes bi‑weekly alteration services at the City’s facility. Vendors must provide unit pricing for each uniform item, handle embroidery/screen‑printing per specifications, and deliver completed orders within four weeks of receipt.
• Provide new, unused uniforms for the Alexandria Fire Department (various jackets, shirts, trousers, caps, etc.).
• Maintain inventory of all approved items and perform on‑site alteration services (bi‑weekly visits, 7‑day turnaround).
• Include all printing/embroidery costs in unit prices; alterations are performed at no cost to the City.
• Deliver finished, packaged orders within 4 weeks of each order request.
• Contract duration 12 months with a possible 12‑month renewal, payment within 30 days of invoicing.
