Environmental Monitoring Services for USDA Roadside Vegetation Management Risk Reduction

The Town of Los Gatos is seeking a qualified environmental services firm to provide project planning, project management, environmental consulting, and biological monitoring for a roadside vegetation management fire risk reduction project. The selected firm will be expected to deliver complete, high-quality services and consult with Town staff and contractors involved in the project. The project is partially funded by a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture and is subject to federal guidelines. The scope of work includes community outreach, development of a plan and scope of field work, project management, environmental oversight, permitting assistance, and documentation of contractor activities. • The project aims to reduce hazardous vegetation and create defensible space along Town roadways. • The selected firm will be responsible for ensuring compliance with CEQA and NEPA regulations. • The project is expected to start in August 2026 and be completed by April 2027. • The Town is seeking a firm with experience in providing biological monitoring services in support of wildfire vegetation management projects. • The selected firm will be required to provide a qualified biologist to perform the requested services.
