The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information on advanced multichannel multispectral photodetection systems for incorporation into their Serial Flow Cytometer. The system should be able to perform sensitive, dynamic, and hyperspectral fluorescence measurements of rapidly flowing micro and nanoparticles. The ideal system should have a minimum of 16 spectral channels, detect light from at least 4 light sources, and have a spectral sensitivity range of 450 nm to 750 nm.
• Multispectral light detection with ≥ 16 spectral channels
• Detection of light from ≥ 4 light sources
• Accepts one fiber optic input per light source
• Internal detector format: photomultiplier tube, avalanche photodiode, silicon photomultiplier, or hybrid
• Typical peak photon detection efficiency ≥ 10 %
• Net bandwidth ≥ 500 kHz
• Readout noise ≤ 10 mV p-p
• Dynamic range ≥ 10,000
The information gathered from this request will be used to determine the capability of potential respondents to provide the required system.
