Description
The City of Laurinburg is seeking bids for the construction of a one-story building in the McDuffie Square area. The project includes the construction of a building with restrooms, an office, storage, and an open-air shelter area. The construction site is in the downtown fire district, and all construction must be of non-combustible material or treated with fire retarding measures. The city will bring utilities to within 5 feet of the concrete slab on the Railroad Street side of the building.
• The project requires a single prime contract with all trades.
• Bidders must provide a bid bond/bid security of 5%.
• Performance and payment bonds will be required.
• Insurance in a form acceptable to the owner will be required of the successful bidder.
• The city reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and to waive irregularities and informalities in any bids submitted.
