IFB-Electrical Services as needed

The City of Lynn is soliciting bids from licensed electrical companies to provide electrical installation, repair, and maintenance services on an as-needed basis in all school and municipal buildings. The work may include labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary for electrical services, such as upgrades, replacements, lighting retrofits, and wiring systems. The contract is subject to M.G.L. c.149 and minimum prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 §§ 26 – 27D. • The bid must be accompanied by a copy of a Department of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) “Certificate of Eligibility” (DCAMM Form CQ-7) and a “Contractor Update Statement” (DCAMM Form CQ-3). • The bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than 5% of the total bid price. • The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked: “Bid #03-657 Electrical Services”. • The bid will be publicly opened and read forthwith.
