Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive trash and recycling collection, hauling, and disposal services for its District 8 facilities in San Bernardino County. The contractor must supply all necessary bins, equipment, labor, and associated costs, and must comply with state waste‑recycling laws, safety, and environmental regulations. No subcontracting is permitted, and the contractor must hold a valid California Motor Carrier Permit and appropriate insurance.
• Provide two 10‑CY roll‑off bins (≥ 1 pickup/week) and two 3‑CY trash bins plus two 3‑CY recycling bins (≥ 2 pickups/week each).
• Perform scheduled pickups Monday–Friday and respond to on‑call requests within 3 working days.
• Submit detailed disposal receipts and utilization reports with each monthly invoice; maintain all required permits and insurance throughout the contract period.
