Prospect Heights Housing Developer RFQ

The City of Barre is seeking a developer to partner with on the Prospect Heights Development project, a 34-acre parcel off Prospect Street. The City has secured funding for infrastructure and is looking for a developer to bring online at least 42 housing units, with 32 being affordable to households at or below 80% Area Median Income. The project is expected to be completed by December 31, 2030. • The City has secured approximately $9 million in funding for infrastructure. • The developer will be responsible for completing the remaining tasks and conveying the parcel(s) within the site for low-to-no cost. • The City will invite up to five developers to submit more detailed proposals based on the RFQ responses.
