Water Well Project, U.S. Embassy Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt is seeking a contractor to drill and construct a production well at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The project involves drilling and testing of one production well, which will provide a reliable water supply to the Embassy. The scope of work includes drilling, construction, well development and testing, water quality analysis, and completion and reporting. The successful offeror will be required to provide drilling, coordination, and construction management services. • The well will be drilled to a depth of approximately 550 meters ± 20%. • The scope of work includes borehole drilling, installation of steel casings and screens, gravel packing and cement grouting, well development and testing, and water quality analysis. • The successful offeror must comply with the requirements included in the solicitation, including being legally authorized to operate in Ethiopia and providing Irrevocable Letters of Credit (ILCs) or bonds totaling 40% of the value of the contract.
