RFQ Fuquay-Varina IBT Review

The Brunswick County is requesting qualifications statements from qualified engineering firms to assess the Fuquay-Varina Interbasin Transfer request and associated documents and provide technical support to Brunswick County. The selected consultant will review documents associated with the Fuquay-Varina Interbasin Transfer request, coordinate with other consultants and interested parties, review alternatives presented in the Fuquay-Varina Environmental Impact Statement, and provide comments on costs, feasibility, and impacts. The consultant will also provide an alternative based on the potential use of groundwater instead of surface water from the Cape Fear River for Fuquay-Varina.
