Description
The California Highway Patrol is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to replace the five existing packaged HVAC units at its Solano Area Office in Fairfield, CA. The scope includes removal of existing equipment, supply and installation of five new Energy‑Star‑rated Carrier (or equivalent) units, refrigerant handling, testing and balancing, on‑site training, warranty documentation, and all required permitting and waste disposal. The contract is a lump‑sum, fixed‑price award with a one‑year workmanship warranty and standard liquidated damages for late completion.
• Remove and dispose of five existing rooftop HVAC units in compliance with hazardous‑waste regulations.
• Install five new commercial‑grade HVAC units (Carrier or equivalent) using R‑454B or R‑32 refrigerant, including new disconnects, economizers, and integration with existing thermostats.
• Perform full system testing, balancing, start‑up, and provide on‑site training plus two copies of O&M manuals; obtain all permits and provide a one‑year warranty.
