Description
The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) intends to award a sole source contract to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for an Enterprise Leadership Seminar. The seminar aims to teach participants the leadership elements of enterprise and business approaches within the context of the Department of the Air Force and the military as a whole. The curriculum addresses topics including strategic planning and execution, innovation, decision-making, negotiation and collaboration strategies, leading organizational change, and ethical leadership considerations.
• The seminar is designed to deepen participants' understanding of the Department of the Air Force enterprise and broaden their perspectives on its "business" functions and operating environment.
• The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has a unique capability to meet the Department of Defense's requirements for senior contracting leader development.
• The contract will be awarded without full and open competition, as the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is the only source capable of providing the required services at the necessary level of quality.
