The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is seeking information from consortiums and consortium management firms to support the development of prototypes for the Enterprise Prototype Initiative Consortium (EPIC). The EPIC is an Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) that aims to provide technology prototypes to the warfighter. The OTA will have a project ordering period of 120 months, and project performance will be allowed up to 24 months after the project ordering end date. The agreement will have multiple Project-Level Orders (PLOs) awarded on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The PLOs will be used to develop and demonstrate prototypes in various technology areas, including agile engineering, capability performance analysis, capability ecosystems, information systems security, and assured and trusted cyber infrastructure.
Some key areas of focus include:
• Developing and demonstrating prototypes for various technology areas
• Providing proposal preparation and administration of individual prototype project agreements
• Conducting pre-delivery testing and verification of claimed performance attributes
• Collaborating with the Government's technical and agreements teams to refine and improve business and technical processes
• Providing feedback on the process and identifying areas for improvement
