Description
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is requesting bids for the removal of a section of roofing and installation of shingles at Blue Rock State Park. The project includes removing old roofing and underlayment, installing new underlayment and fiberglass shingles, and replacing metal flashing and drip edge as necessary. The contractor will be responsible for demo, haul away, and site clean-up, as well as obtaining any necessary permits. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Key tasks include:
• Removing old roofing and underlayment inside the sections denoted in yellow
• Removing and replacing metal flashing in four valleys
• Flashing and sealing around three vent stacks
• Replacing drip edge as necessary
• Installing underlayment, sealing flashing where necessary, and installing and fastening fiberglass shingles
• Ensuring all construction materials, scraps, and debris are removed from the site
