On-Call Emergency Restoration Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking on-call emergency restoration services to provide 24/7 emergency response for water, fire, smoke, and mold damage. The services include testing, assessment, containment, remediation, cleaning, and sanitization of surfaces and areas in and around County facilities. The County intends to bring under contract two vendors to provide on-call emergency restoration services with an aggregate fiscal obligation not to exceed $2,000,000 for each agreement. • The work to be done consists of providing essential and time-sensitive projects as they may occur. • The contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, tools, appurtenances, and equipment required to complete the work. • The contractor will be required to respond to emergency requests within two hours of initial contact. • The contractor will be required to provide a service request reporting system and a designated phone contact with 24 hours, 7 days per week service. • The contractor will be required to follow all industry-recognized standard practices for proper testing, assessment, containment, remediation, cleaning, and sanitization of contaminated surfaces and areas.
