The Town of Colonie is seeking a qualified contractor to provide annual preventive maintenance of chlorination equipment for the Latham Water District. The contractor will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and replacing parts, to ensure the equipment is functioning properly. The contract will commence on January 1, 2026, and terminate on December 31, 2026, with the option to renew for up to three additional years. The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards, including prevailing wage rates and workers' compensation requirements. • The contractor must have experience with chlorination equipment maintenance and be qualified to do business in New York State. • The contractor must provide a completed Bidder Qualification Questionnaire and evidence of qualification to do business in New York State. • The contractor must comply with all safety rules and regulations, including those related to confined spaces and hot work. • The contractor must provide a detailed proposal, including a breakdown of costs and a description of the work to be performed. • The contractor must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor and provide a copy of the official NYSDOL Certificate of Registration.
