University Credential Printing for Athletics and Events

The Virginia Tech Athletics Department is seeking a qualified and responsive partner to facilitate the processing, creation, and delivery of custom, high-quality access badges and parking passes to be used to access premium areas at University events. The contract will be for 1 year with an option for 4 one-year renewals. The selected vendor will be required to provide durable, laminate badges with custom graphics and data fields, incorporate security features, and handle secure and confidential information. The vendor will also need to provide accompanying lanyards, plastic sleeves, and other accessories for laminate identification badges. • The contract will require the vendor to have capabilities for proofing and approval workflows, handle batches of credentials based on spreadsheets and datasets, and encode data onto credentials using smart card technology. • The vendor will need to be compatible with existing University access control systems for Athletics. • The vendor will need to provide fast production and turnaround times, secure delivery, and provisions for emergency rush order timelines. • The vendor will need to have good communication with the University athletics department and the ability to rectify any potential issues quickly and professionally.
