Description
Lapeer Community Schools is seeking bids for pre-owned school buses. The buses must be 2024 or newer, with less than 45,000 miles for the 53-passenger Special Needs Type C2 Bus, and less than 50,000 miles for the 77-passenger Type C Bus. The buses must be equipped with specific features, including Cummins 6.7L 220hp Engine, Air Brakes, Air Rear Suspension, and other equipment. The successful bidder will be required to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Lapeer Community Schools from any claims, suits, losses, damages, costs, fines, expenses, and causes of actions.
• The buses must substantially meet or exceed current MSBO Aggregate School Bus Bid Specifications.
• The bidder must provide a bid price for each bus.
• The bidder must provide information about the bus, including the year, number of passengers, engine, transmission, and other equipment.
• The bidder must provide a specification sheet with the required information.
