Description
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing an Open‑Market Request for Quote (RFQ) to clean and inspect the sewage and grey‑water systems (tanks, piping, pumps, valves, etc.) aboard USCG Boat 1153 located at the Boston, MA base. The effort is a small‑business set‑aside (NAICS 562910) and will be awarded as a single firm‑fixed‑price task order based on technical experience, relevant experience, and price. The contractor must develop and submit a detailed cleaning plan, perform chemical and mechanical cleaning, conduct pre‑ and post‑operational inspections, provide all required reports (CIRs, CFRs, plug log), and coordinate closely with Coast Guard personnel who will operate shipboard equipment.
• Scope: complete cleaning of sewage and grey‑water tanks, piping, valves, pumps, and related components; inspection and functional testing after cleaning.
• Deliverables: Cleaning Plan (within 7 days of arrival conference), Condition Inspection Reports (CIR), Contractor Field Reports (CFR), plug log, final acceptance documentation.
