Background Investigation Services

The Peace Corps is seeking vendors to provide background investigation services for applicants and employees. The services will include conducting and documenting personnel security background investigations, gathering information, and conducting interviews. The contractor will be required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience conducting background investigations and must demonstrate the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of government and the private sector. The contract will be for a period of 5 years with an option to extend for an additional 6 months. • The contractor will be responsible for conducting background investigations in accordance with the Section 3 Performance Work Statement (PWS). • The contractor will be required to have a Top Secret security clearance and must have undergone a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or a periodic reinvestigation within the past 7 years. • The contractor will be required to provide a redacted sample report of investigation (ROI) for a Tier 5 background investigation. • The contractor will be evaluated on their technical capabilities, experience, and knowledge in performing background investigations. • The contractor will be required to provide pricing for the services, and the government will evaluate the price to determine if it is fair and reasonable.
