Vehicle Up-Fitting Services

The City of Gilroy is soliciting proposals for Vehicle Up-Fitting Services, which include the installation of emergency equipment such as lighting and radios for new Police, Fire, and Public Works vehicles. The selected vendor will be required to provide all labor, parts, and materials necessary for the up-fitting services. The contract will be for a period of two years, with an option to extend for an additional two years. The City is looking for a vendor that can provide high-quality services, meet the required specifications, and demonstrate experience in similar work. • The vendor must have prior successful experience in performing equipment repair services on vehicles. • The vendor must be licensed to conduct business in the State of California. • The vendor must possess all necessary permits, licenses, certifications, approvals, equipment, materials, and staff to perform the required services. • The vendor must provide a proposed fee schedule and cost submittal worksheet. • The vendor must provide three references from previous clients who can validate their past performance on contracts of similar size and scope.
