Description

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking a high-precision benchtop spectroradiometer system for acquiring spectral data from a microscope. The system must include a benchtop spectroradiometer, flexible probes for luminance and radiance measurement, and a fully documented Software Development Kit (SDK) with command-line control and raw-data export. The system must meet or exceed every minimum performance requirement in the attached Statement of Work. The FDA intends to award a single firm-fixed-price purchase order to the responsible quoter whose quote is the Lowest-Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA). • The benchtop spectroradiometer must have a wavelength range of at least 380-780 nm, a back-thinned cooled CCD with at least 512 elements, and a spectral bandwidth under 5 nm. • The flexible probes must be at least 4 ft long and designed for luminance and radiance measurements. • The SDK must be fully documented and compatible with Windows 10 or later. • The system must be delivered within 60 days after award, and the contractor must provide a minimum 1-year warranty.

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

Based on the description of the requirement, it is difficult to estimate the exact budget for this opportunity. However, considering the complexity of the benchtop spectroradiometer system and the requirements for the flexible probes and SDK, the budget could be in the range of $50,000 to $200,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the system will be a high-end, commercial-grade product with advanced features and capabilities. The actual budget could be higher or lower, depending on the specific quotes received from vendors. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the system, the number of units required, and the level of competition among vendors.
