Description
The Federal Medical Center (FMC) Carswell is seeking a contractor to provide mobile ultrasonography and echocardiogram services to female Adults in Custody (AICs) at the FMC and the adjacent Federal Prison Camp (FPC). The contractor will be responsible for providing 2D echocardiograms, ultrasound examinations, venous doppler studies, and professional interpretations. The contractor will also be responsible for equipment transportation, delivery, and set up, as well as complete maintenance and service coverage for all equipment. The contractor must meet all applicable Joint Commission Standards and requirements, including the National Patient Safety Goals.
• The contractor will provide services four times a week or as needed, and echocardiogram services will be provided once a week or as needed.
• The contractor will be responsible for reviewing all ultrasound and echocardiogram imaging requests and confirming studies based on physician orders.
• The contractor will provide professional interpretations, and reports must be in typewritten or computerized format and received within 48 hours of service.
• The contractor will be responsible for equipment transportation, delivery, and set up, as well as complete maintenance and service coverage for all equipment.
• The contractor must meet all applicable Joint Commission Standards and requirements, including the National Patient Safety Goals.
