The space requirements range from 15,000 to 55,000 square feet, and the storage will be needed for up to 3 years. The warehouse needs are in support of the Long Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF) Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). Contractors should provide their point of contact’s name, address, telephone number, and email address, as well as answer a series of questions about their warehouse capabilities, including available space, laydown yard, ground-level doors, overhead crane, climate control, staffing, office space, and fire suppression system.
Some key requirements for the warehouse space include:
• A minimum of 10 ft wide and 14-16 ft tall doors for truck access
• Ability to accommodate semi-trucks with trailers up to 50 feet long
• Overhead crane with a capacity of 14,000 Lbs.
• Climate control to protect from freeze
• Availability of a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
The purpose of this request for information is to determine contractor interest, capabilities, and qualifications for market research and an estimated budget for warehouse space.
