Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from businesses regarding the provision of imaging staffing services, including diagnostic radiologic technologists, computed tomography (CT) technologists, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technologists, ultrasound technologists, nuclear medicine technologists, and medical support assistants. The services will be provided at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for providing clinical, technical, and administrative staffing support on a varied and sometimes immediate basis.
Some key responsibilities of the imaging staff include:
• Performing diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Operating and maintaining imaging equipment
• Providing patient care and education
• Maintaining patient records and confidentiality
• Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Participating in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
