Description
The State of Maryland is seeking a contractor to provide fire alarm services and fire equipment maintenance for the St. Mary's County area. The contract will be for a period of 48 months, with the option for renewal. The contractor will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and testing fire alarm systems, as well as inspecting and repairing fire extinguishers and emergency lights. The contractor must have at least 3 years of experience in providing similar services and must be certified by the Governor's Office of Small, Minority & Women Business Affairs.
• The contractor will be required to provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform the services.
• The contractor will be required to respond to emergency service calls within 2 hours.
• The contractor will be required to provide a detailed description of the work performed and the costs associated with the work.
• The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and price.
• The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
