Martin Baker CAD/PAD supplies

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) is conducting market research to identify potential sources with the capabilities to manufacture, procure, supply, inspect, test, repair, overhaul, and/or provide logistics support for Martin-Baker Cartridge Actuated Devices (CADs) and Propellant Actuated Devices (PADs) components utilized in support of the F-35 Lightning II program. The government anticipates a potential five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for supplies and/or services described herein in Fiscal Year 2028-FY2033. Key requirements include: • Experience with energetics, aerospace or aviation safety systems, precision manufacturing, quality assurance processes, inspection and testing procedures, and compliance with applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, and industry standards associated with CAD/PAD devices and escape system components. • Technical capabilities, manufacturing capacity, supply chain management approach, and ability to support urgent or surge requirements in support of fleet sustainment and production schedules. • Prior experience supporting similar systems or programs, including any relevant past performance information, if available.
