Description
The City of Marlborough is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors to provide professional laundry and dry-cleaning services for Police uniforms, plain/civilian clothing, and blankets. The contract term will be for three years, commencing July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029, with options to renew for two additional one-year terms. The successful bidder will be required to provide services including washing, dry-cleaning, sewing alterations, and minor repairs. The estimated annual contract value shall not exceed $25,000.00 per year.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing professional laundry and dry-cleaning services for Police uniforms and plain/civilian clothing
• Maintaining a physical business location within the City of Marlborough or an abutting municipality, or providing pickup and delivery services
• Meeting the required turnaround time of seventy-two hours
• Complying with OSHA regulations for bloodborne pathogen exposure control plan
• Providing insurance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, and worker's compensation
