On-Call Electrical Maintenance & Repair Services

The Mission Springs Water District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for On-Call Electrical Maintenance and Repair Services. The selected contractors will provide professional electrical maintenance and repair services on an "on-call" or "as needed" time and materials basis. The scope of work includes electrical conduit, motor control panel, well, pump, and motor repair services for MSWD's 13 production wells, sewer pumps, buildings, and other District facilities. The initial contract term is anticipated to begin in July 2026 and continue through June 30, 2027, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year terms. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must have at least five years of experience in electrical maintenance and repair services in a commercial and/or municipal environment. • The contractor must be properly licensed to perform the work in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9 of Division 3 of the Business and Professions Code and the Rules and Procedures of the California State Contractor's License Board. • The contractor must maintain a valid City of Desert Hot Springs business license for the duration of the contract term. • The contractor must provide a detailed cost proposal, including a rate sheet and pricing alternatives. • The contractor must demonstrate its qualifications, competence, and capacity to perform the work, including its experience, skills, and licenses. • The contractor must agree to the terms and conditions outlined in the RFP, including the payment terms, warranty requirements, and dispute resolution process. The District reserves the right to amend, withdraw, or cancel this RFP at any time, and to reject any or all proposals prior to the execution of an agreement.
