Off Leash Dog Run

The County of Georgetown, South Carolina, Parks and Recreation Department is soliciting sealed bids for a firm to provide a turn-key solution of an Off Leash Dog Run. The project will entail the design and construction of an approximately 24,000 square foot off-leash dog run. Key project components include site preparation, installation of fencing and secure entry points, waste stations, and signage. The completed dog run will serve as a valued community amenity, encouraging responsible pet ownership and providing an accessible recreational space for residents and their canine companions. • The dog run will be divided into separate zones for large and small dogs. • The facility will be designed to offer a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for dogs and their owners. • The project requires a turn-key solution, including design and construction. • The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the general public, County personnel, and their employees and subcontractors. • The contractor will be required to provide a certificate of insurance naming Georgetown County as an additional insured. • The contractor will be responsible for disposing of any removed, unused, and surplus materials and paying any associated fees and transportation costs.
