Description
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking bids for housekeeping and janitorial services for the Student Recreation Center and Rams Head Recreation Center. The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with options for renewal. The successful bidder will be required to provide cleaning services, including daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, as well as semi-annual and annual deep cleaning. The bidder must also provide all necessary equipment and supplies.
• Daily tasks include trash removal, cleaning of building surfaces, stairwell cleaning, entrance cleaning, restroom cleaning, and high-touch surface cleaning.
• Weekly tasks include auto scrubbing lobby floors, vacuuming fitness areas, and cleaning interior and exterior glass windows and doors.
• Monthly tasks include cleaning HVAC registers and grilles, descaling restroom fixtures, and brushing and vacuuming upholstered furniture.
• Semi-annual tasks include carpet shampooing.
• Annual tasks include window cleaning and upholstery cleaning.
The University reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to negotiate with the successful bidder.
