Description
The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide professional dam engineering services for the operation, maintenance, and capital improvement of its dams and ancillary structures. The work may include civil, geotechnical, hydrologic, hydraulic, environmental, and cost‑estimation engineering, as well as land surveying and other related specialties. This is a term‑contract opportunity, allowing the Authority to call upon the selected firm as needed throughout the contract period.
• Provide engineering design, analysis, and consulting for existing dams and new capital projects.
• Perform geotechnical investigations, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and environmental assessments.
• Supply cost estimating, land surveying, and related professional services on an as‑needed basis.
• Serve both Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority and Rivanna Solid Waste Authority.
• Contract is open until May 18, 2026, with award anticipated shortly thereafter.
