Large Tent Purchase, Delivery and Installation

The Mt. San Antonio Community College District is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a temporary tension fabric tent structure for the college's operations and program activities. The proposed structure should be a 25-meter by 30-meter by 4-meter clear-span tent system with a 25-meter by 5-meter white mid-kit A-frame gable section. The tent framework should be constructed of hard-pressed extruded structural aluminum alloy and incorporate hinged (pivot) baseplates at all vertical support locations. The structure should include all manufacturer-required roof and sidewall stabilization bracing necessary to provide a complete, safe, and code-compliant installation. The tent roof and sidewall materials should consist of double-coated blackout white PVC polyester fabric with a minimum weight of 850 g/m² (25 oz/yd²). The contractor should provide labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidentals necessary to provide a complete and operational installation. • The tent structure should be engineered to safely withstand sustained wind speeds ranging from 100 km/h (62 mph) up to 140 km/h (86 mph). • The structure should be temperature tested to maintain material stability from -30°C to +70°C (-22°F to 158°F). • The contractor should provide a separate line-item cost for a future one-time disassembly of the tent structure. • The District is purchasing the tent structure as a permanent asset and intends to take full ownership upon completion of installation and final acceptance.
