Port of Pensacola Berth 6 Structural Sustainability Survey

The City of Pensacola is seeking a qualified contractor to perform a comprehensive structural sustainability survey of Berth 6 at the Port of Pensacola. The work includes visual inspection of the bulkhead wall, steel sheet‑pile thickness testing using ultrasonic methods, and underwater inspection of concrete pilings performed by certified divers. Findings must be reported per ASCE guidelines, with condition ratings and photographic documentation. • Inspect bulkhead wall (steel sheet piling, battered concrete piles, reinforced concrete cap) and dock pilings from mudline to superstructure. • Perform ultrasonic thickness testing at every 5th column line (≈ 50 ft) at three vertical positions. • Provide underwater inspection using ADC/FHWA‑certified divers, video capture, and detailed condition ratings per ASCE Manual (scale 1‑6). • Deliver a written report with damage locations, severity, photographs above waterline, and overall condition assessments.
