Welding and Fabrication Services for the Water Department (Bid Discount)

The City of Tampa's Water Department is seeking bids from qualified vendors to perform as-needed welding and fabrication work. The scope of work includes portable and shop welding services, and incidental work required for fabrication and/or repairs of existing water vaults. The successful bidder will be required to provide all necessary supplies, time, and transportation to complete the work. The contract will be for a one-year period, with the option to renew for up to three additional one-year periods. • The bidder must have relevant welding certifications for structural or utility-related work. • The bidder must provide their own vehicle, tools, PPE, and welding equipment. • The bidder must carry valid liability insurance. • The bidder must follow all applicable safety protocols, including OSHA safety guidelines and traffic and pedestrian safety procedures. • The bidder must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while in the field. • The bidder must avoid service disruption or property damage and report any incidents immediately.
