Description
The City of Valdez is seeking qualified contractors to perform Category 1 elevator inspections on five elevators (three hydraulic elevators at City Hall, Valdez Library, and Senior Center; a cable‑operated dumbwaiter at Council Chambers; and a cable book elevator at the Library). Inspections are required annually, with a one‑year contract term and optional renewals for up to three additional years. The total contract value is expected to be under $40,000. Bids must be submitted by 4:00 PM local time on April 30 2026 via email, fax, mail, or in person, and must include required licenses, insurance, and compliance with Alaska prevailing wage and employment preference regulations.
