Description
The City of Morgan Hill is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to provide landscape maintenance services for its Parks Mowing and Edging (Group 1), Medians, Streetscapes, Parking Lots (Group 3), and Downtown (Group 6) areas. The contract will be for a two-year term with the possibility of up to three one-year extensions. The services required include landscape maintenance, irrigation maintenance, and other related tasks. The contractor must possess a valid and current CSLB C-27 Landscape Contractor’s license and comply with all other required licenses, insurance, and permit requirements.
• The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, and performance of operation in connection with landscape maintenance services.
• The contractor must have experience in providing superior levels of landscape maintenance services at like-sized public and/or private facilities with similar scopes of work.
• The contractor must have a well-organized communication system and electronic reporting capabilities to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
• The contractor must have a qualified staff to be assigned to provide landscape maintenance services to the City.
• The contractor must have a plan for maintaining irrigation systems and preventative measures to assure maximum efficiency and water conservation.
